Who this notice covers
Fresh Data UK provides UK business-opening and business-change information for business-to-business use. For privacy enquiries, corrections or objections, contact sales@freshdatauk.com.
Information submitted through this website
When you request pricing or a sample, we may collect your name, work email address, company, phone number, target areas, preferred data sources, volume, delivery requirements and the details you enter in the message field.
We use this information to review your request, prepare a quotation or sample, respond to you, maintain service security and keep a record of the enquiry. Website enquiry records are retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is needed for an active customer relationship, a dispute or a legal requirement.
Public-source business information
Our data products can include business names, business addresses, postcodes, publicly listed business telephone numbers, business types, opening or change categories, source platforms, source URLs, announcement dates, collection dates and map or website links.
Sources may include public UK news and articles, public Facebook posts and pages, public Instagram and Threads content, Companies House, Just Eat and the Public Notice Portal. Field availability varies by source and project.
Public availability does not remove data-protection responsibilities. Where a record contains personal information, we assess the purpose, lawful basis, reasonable expectations, necessity and safeguards relevant to the processing.
How information may be used or shared
- To answer enquiries and prepare requested quotations or samples.
- To research, organise, check and deliver the agreed business-data service.
- To investigate corrections, objections, suppression requests or suspected duplicate records.
- With customers receiving the data product described in their order.
- With service providers supporting secure hosting, communication or delivery, where necessary.
- Where disclosure is required by law or needed to protect legal rights.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. You have an absolute right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing.
To ask us to review a record, email sales@freshdatauk.com with the business name, the relevant URL or record reference, the issue and the action requested. We may ask for enough information to identify the correct record and verify the request.
You can also read the Information Commissioner's Office guidance on the rights available to individuals and raise a concern with the ICO.

Customer responsibilities
Customers must assess their own lawful basis and comply with applicable UK GDPR, PECR, TPS, CTPS and suppression requirements before using supplied information for outreach. See our Data Use page for practical buyer responsibilities.
